Centrally located on the Shetland mainland you have the choice of venturing to the north mainland or visiting the outer islands of Whalsay, Skerries, Yell, Unst and Fetlar.  Alternatively, venture south to Lerwick, the islands capital only 20 minutes away, and from there, explore the south mainland.
