Nilmurhaa Cottage:

This former croft cottage, that is located on two floors, is new for the 2009 season and is awaiting confirmation of its Star Grading. It has been newly refurbished to the same high standards found in Nilmurhaa Apartment. The cottage has full sea views from all rooms and has central heating throughout. The property features:

  • 2 - bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin
  • Dining room
  • Sitting room
  • Kitchen with fridge, electric cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and radio.
  • Bathroom with bath/shower.
  • A private area with garden furniture is located directly outside the cottage
  • Further garden seating is found on the front lawn area overlooking South Nesting Bay.
  • Full sea views from all cottage rooms

Sitting room:

Two seater couches, coffee table, TV, DVD, extensive literature, Up Helly Aa and Traditional Shetland music, books and games,OS maps covering all of Shetland are provided too!
Dining Room:

Dining table and 4 chairs, cabinet, and additional coffee table. Airing cupboard with central heating panel.

 



Double Bedroom:

Double bed, bedside cabinets, double wardrobe, dressing table, mirror, hair dryer and electric panel heater. High quality towels are provided.
Twin Bedroom:

Twin beds, additional electric panel heater, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, walk in wardrobe.

 



Kitchen:

Fitted electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and towels are provided to ensure you have all the utilities you require for a comfortable stay. Complimentary welcome pack provided that includes a fresh loaf, tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
Bathroom:

Fitted unit with mirror, cabinet, shaver socket, towel rail, radiator, shower with bath. Best quality towels and bed linen provided.

 



Garden:

You have your own private garden area. Garden furniture with picnic table and garden bench. Additional seating provided looking out to South Nesting Bay.
Welcome Pack:

In addition, to help you quickly settle in and start enjoying the delights of the accommodation, a complimentary welcome food pack is provided for your arrival. This includes a freshly baked loaf, tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus a range of other items; the exact contents will vary subject to product availability.

Additional Facilities:

Also provided are: iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, cleaning utensils, outside drying facilities, indoor drying facilities and laundry basket.

Our local shop and post office is located 3 miles along the coastal road, and there you will find just about everything you could possibly need, you can fill up with petrol here too. There is no charge for electricity or heating. Nilmurhaa is strictly no smoking and pets are not permitted.
