Nilmurhaa Apartment:

This property was newly refurbished in 2007.  It has its own private entrance, and comprises of a double bedroom, dining/living room, bathroom, kitchen and separate utility room all decorated to a high standard with a fresh, modern look and feel.  The apartment is located at the back of the main house with side views to the sea.  A private patio area with garden furniture is located directly outside the apartment and there is further garden seating overlooking South Nesting Bay.  Click here for some view shots taken from the guests area.

Living room:

Comfortable double sofa bed, coffee table, TV, DVD, sound system, extensive literature, Up Helly Aa and Traditional Shetland music, books and games, pine dining table, chairs and table linen provided.  Electric panel heater and coal effect fire. All maps covering Shetland are provided too!

Double Bedroom:

Double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, double wardrobe, dressing table, mirror, hair dryer and electric panel heater. Best quality bedlinen and towels are provided and additional linen if required. Complimentary bag for those items we always forget to pack!

Kitchen:

Fitted gas cooker, fridge, use of washing machine, microwave, kettle,  toaster, crockery, cutlery and towels are provided to ensure you have all the utilities you require for a comfortable stay.  Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar provided.

Bathroom:

Fitted unit with large mirror, shaver socket, towel rail,  heater and shower. Best quality towels provided with additional linen if required.

Garden:

You have your own private patio and garden. Garden furniture comprising of picnic table with comfy cushions.

In addition, to help you quickly settle in and start enjoying the delights of the accommodation, a tasty welcome food pack* with a freshly baked loaf is provided on arrival.  If you need further home baked loafs during your stay just let Ann know. There is no charge. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar provided.
Packed lunches by prior arrangement. Home baking.

Utility Room:

Dryer, use of chest freezer, indoor dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, cleaning utensils, outside drying facilities. Laundry basket and bin and radio.

Our local shop and post office is located 3 miles along the coastal road, and here you will find just about everything you could possibly need, you can fill up with petrol here too.   The is no charge for electricity or heating.  Nilmurhaa is strictly no smoking and pets are not permitted.
