Some testimonials from our guests...

''Birdwatching, rabbit/sheep/flower watching and occasionally seal and otter watching...everything enchanted us, not to mention just watching the light playing with the clouds over the hills or the sea.

We loved Lerwick, Sumburgh, Scalloway, St Ninians, Lower Voe, Busta House and especially this beautiful harbour, this haven of bliss: Nilmurhaa.

Thank you Ann for making it so warm and comfortable and thank you for your kind assistance and thoughtfulness.

A truly memorable stay for us.''

Paris, France. July 2007.

"Our second visit to Shetland, the next will be longer and a lovely place to stay – just back from a circular walk up the road to the pass by Kirk Ward and then along the ridge.

The whole area sea, lochs, cliffs, Whalsay, Neap Manse, church laid out like a map. Came down between the loch of Stavaness and loch of Kirkabister – I recommend it – Also larger circular walk to Laxfirth along the coast – thanks for the loan of walk book and thanks for providing just what we needed for our stay.

P.S. We had sun every day except one."

London. June 2007"

Dear Ann and Chris

We enjoyed our stay in your house, a cosy and warm shelter during the cold and sometimes foggy days (except for Thursday, when the sun surprised us).  Shetland’s scenery is gorgeous and, besides, the islands have to offer a lot of interesting ancient things.

Ann we want to thank you for your warm welcome and many surprises in the freezer and around it!

We hope to meet again and wish you both all the best.
